Advanced Fundamentals in Photography - Youth
AGES: 12 to 18 years old
LOCATION: Emeryville, CA (Perspectives Photo Studio)
Take your teen’s photography skills to the next level in this advanced course designed for students who have completed our Fundamentals of Photography for Youth class or have equivalent experience. This hands-on, project-based course will deepen your technical knowledge while challenging your creativity and artistic vision. Students will engage in hands-on activities, students will receive daily feedback and personalized guidance from our passionate instructors. This class is intended to be a fun and educational and to help teens build confidence throughout the week!
Class highlights include:
Mastering manual mode for full creative control
Exploring advanced composition techniques to tell compelling stories
Practicing diverse photography genres such as portraiture, action, and abstract photography
Experimenting with both natural and artificial lighting setups
Developing a final portfolio that showcases your growth and unique style
Engaging in interactive peer and instructor critiques for personalized feedback
Classes will take place in the Perspectives Photo School studio and on location, offering a variety of dynamic shooting environments to expand your skills.
Prerequisite: Completion of the Fundamentals of Photography for Youth or instructor approval.
